Join Chef kiah for this month’s garden dinner at Our Time Kitchen. Each month kiah puts together a menu influenced by the season’s bounty. A creative and ephemeral al fresco experience. An experience to feel fed, to be surrounded by growing delights, dancing plates with seasonal treats and twinkling lights. This is a celebration of the season, of the bounty that grows in our community, and of the way we gather!
First up this season!! We have a dinner on Earth Day 🌏 Inspired by wanting to counter the toll our industrialized food system has on our mother planet by changing up each step of how one would typically prepare a simple four course meal by:
-biking to deliver ingredients
-making everything from scratch (cheese, bread, cider etc.)
-creating my plates at a local artist collective @pottersguild
-providing a sliding scale for those who opt out of drinking and/or individual’s that B.Y.O.PLATE!
-using a wood fire to cook instead of natural gas
-thrifting or reusing all decor
-and composting waste and grey water for the garden 💚✨
You will enjoy homemade hard cider, two meze plates, a cheese burger or veggie burger made entirely from scratch, and a fire roasted dessert!
Sliding scale options are:
1) Full Package: Enjoy this four course dinner, on a handmade plate, with a drink of locally made apple cider. (Price: $85)
2) No Plate: Enjoy this four course dinner and locally brewed cider, on your own cutlery and plate you bring from home! Reduce our clean-up and re-use (bonus points if you lick your plate)! (Price: $80)
3) No Drink: Enjoy this four course dinner without the drink! (Price: $80)
4) No Drink and No Plate: Enjoy this four course dinner without the drink, and bring your own plate to reduce our clean-up and re-use what you already have (bonus points if you lick your plate)! (Price: $75)
